Tyche/Alpha was an Alternate Reality Game dealing with conspiracies, misdemeanors, evil dentists, animal robots, corporate nonsense, dismembering water, mind control and much more. Karel van de Peer, Dries de Langhe and myself engineered our own conspiracy theory about a multinational corporation called Tyche, which was actually an Illuminati-like organization that secretly ruled the world, known by conspiracy theorists as Alpha. We used installations, posters, websites, interactive puzzles and other means to tell a story based on this conspiracy to our class- and schoolmates. During the project, our fellow students were unaware that it was us who were terrorizing the school. To conclude and summarize the project, a 228 page book was made about this very fun project.
